Obituary of James Albert Coppard

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Jim Coppard Jr. on Sunday, October 19th, 2014; at the age of 66. Beloved husband and best friend of Patti (Grey) Coppard. Love filled father of Jeff and Carmen, Melanie and Tim. The best, nurturing, playful and magical Papa to Keenan and Alaya. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Mary (Rilett) Coppard. Survived by his brother Al Coppard (Sheryl). Generous and caring son-in-law of Elinor Grey and the late John Grey. Brother-in-law to Blake Hughes (Audrey), Randy Grey (Stephanie), Diane Whiteside (Lee) and Tena Grey. Uncle to many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate Jim’s life on Sunday, October 26th from 1 to 3:30 at the Strathroy Senior’s Centre, 137 Frank St. with a service at 2 pm. Casual attire encouraged. In honour of Jim’s reverence for nature and love of humanity, the family encourages you to bestow a random act of kindness upon your fellow man.
