Obituary of Josephine Marie DeCock (Noorenberghe)

De Cock, Marie - (Nee Noorenberghe)Peacefully passed at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on July 7, 2014, in her 82nd year. Josephine was born in Belgium on August 16, 1932. Beloved wife of the late Alois DeCock (1996). Loving mother of Linda Vanheule (Emiel), Eric DeCock and Roger DeCock. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Vanheule (Cora) and Rene Vanheule (Tara). Proud great-grandmother of Betty, Isabel and Warren. Survived by siblings Roger Noorenberghe (Anna), Joel Noorenberghe (Antoinette), Hugho Noorenberghe (Aline), Leona Delobelle (Ivan), Martha Wydoot (George), and Daniel Noorenberghe (Betty). Survived by sister-in-laws Aldegonde Noorenberghe, Rachel DeCock, Mariette DeCreamer, Yvonne DeCock and brothers-in-law Paul Meersseman and Wilfrid DeCock. Predeceased by siblings Michael Noorenberghe, Anna Meersman, infant twin brothers Daniel and Frans, grandson David Vanheule, sisters-in-law Maria Noorenberghe and Madeleina DeCock (Luc Desimple), and brother-in-law Gentiel DeCock, Josephine will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Belgium and Canada. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 6-9p.m at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11, at 11a.m at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy.
