Obituary of Ronald Hurst

Peacefully at LHSC University Campus, surrounded by his family on Monday, June 30, 2014, Ronald Fredrick Hurst of Newbury, passed away in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Selena Hurst (Newby)(Long) for 23 years. Loving step father of 9 step children, 13 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his special granddaughter Amanda (Pee Wee). Dear brother of Ken Hurst (Ruth), Harold Hurst (Sharon) and Carolyn Cochrane (Louie). Dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially John and Isabel Collins. Predeceased by his parents George Hurst (1959) and Rita Hurst (Cupskey) (1987), and his brother-in-law John Cochrane (2009). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday July 4, 2014 from 12- 2 p.m. where the Memorial Service will also be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ken Willis officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Babcock Residence Council or the Newbury Hospital Foundation.
