Obituary of Sandra Kellar

Sandra Lee Kellar, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15th following a courageous fight against cancer, with Trevor, her husband of 43 years, at her side. Sandy enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, canoeing, camping, travelling, and was involved in her church in Napier. After several years as a financial planner, Sandy opened her own business, Flagstone Financial, in Strathroy in 2000, in a century home that she and Trevor restored together. She built a very successful business by providing care and advice to her many clients, before retiring in 2009. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandson, Emmett, who was her pride and joy. Sandy is survived by husband Trevor, daughters Jennifer (Ramsey) and Beth (Ian), grandson Emmett, sister Glenys (Mike), nephews Michal, Stefan and Tadeusz, uncles Jack (Jeanne) and Stan (Joan), mother-in-law Margaret, sister-in-law Brenda (Bruce), nieces Kim and Kristy, cousins Joanne and Samantha (Ryan), as well as a loving extended family and many close friends and neighbours. Sandy's positive attitude, caring nature, and ready smile touched everyone she knew. She will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19th between 4 and 6 pm at Denning Brother's Funeral Home in Strathroy. A Celebration of Life for close friends and family will be held at a later date.
