Obituary of John Bayer

Unexpectedly, with his family by his side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, June 22, 2013, John F. Bayer of Mt. Brydges passed away in his 71st year. Cherished husband of Louise Bayer (nee Vandewater) for 49 years. Loving father of Brett and Dawn and her partner Jeff. Dear brother to Theresa Glithero and brother-in-law Charlie Vandewater (Jean). Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Bayer, Uncle Frank and his brother-in-law Larry Glithero. He will be missed by all his nieces, nephews and many friends. John was a long time CN employee and active in the CN Pensioners Association. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, June 24th from 7-9 pm and on Tuesday, June 25th from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
