Obituary of James Turner

Peacefully surrounded by his family at Strathroy Hospital on Monday, May 27, 2013, James Franklin (Jim) Turner of Strathroy passed away in his 77th year. Soul mate through life's journey, his love of his life Beth (Cox) for 55 years. He loved his family, his children Joel and Lynda, Kevin (1973), Shannon, and Karen and Andrew. Proud and caring poppa to Brittany and Carl, Ashleigh, James, Mykayla, Melody and Austin. Great poppa to Boston James. Dear brother of Ray and close friend and brother-in-law to Dunbar and Mary Lynn Cox. Caring friend of Harry and Doris Davis and the Butler family. A private family service has taken place and burial held in Nairn Cemetery. A reception for family, friends and neighbours will be held to celebrate Jim's life at the Knox Presbyterian Church on Centre Rd. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. In memory of Jim, donations may be made to the SMGH Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church, Centre Rd.
