Obituary of Leokadia Konik

Peacefully with family by her side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, April 28, 2013 Leokadia Konik (nee Borowik) at the age of 87. Loving wife of Jozef Konik for 68 years. Dear mother of Theodor (Elizabeth) Konik of Toronto and Christina (Robert) Mills of London. Survived by grandchildren Jason Konik and Brian Konik and Jaime Mills (Jamie King) and Jeffrey (Jeannette) Mills. Beloved great-grandmother of Emily Mills. Also survived by her brother Anthony Borowik and several nieces and nephews all in Poland. Predeceased by her mother Josefa Gauda and her father Vincenty Borowik. Friends and family will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, May 2nd from 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 124 Front Street East, Strathroy, on Friday, May 3rd at 2:00 pm with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Private family interment to take place in St. Peters Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
