Obituary of Wayne Bloomfield

Suddenly at Strathroy Hospital on Sunday, April 28, 2013, Wayne Morris Bloomfield of Kerwood passed away, in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Cheryl (Collins) for 39 years. Loving dad of Derek Bloomfield (Andrea) of Kerwood and Kerri Bloomfield of Strathroy. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Mary Bloomfield. Proud son-in-law of Bernice Collins (late Bruce). Dear brother of Tom Bloomfield, Sharon Sparks (Charlie), Judy Neufeglise, Wendy Bloomfield, Faye McCormack, Ron Bloomfield (Debby), and Ralph Bloomfield. Brother-in-law of Dave Collins (Dianne) and Kim Vandenbroek (Rick). Predeceased by his siblings Marlene Groechel, Terry Daley and Ken Bloomfield. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Wayne loved horses. He was a member of Standardbred Canada and Ontario Racing Commission. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 1 -2p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Julia Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Wayne, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Strathroy Minor Baseball Association.
