Obituary of Wilhelmina Kanters

Wilhelmina Maria Kanters (nee Bouw) passed away at Strathmere Lodge in Strathroy, Ontario on March 5, 2013 in her 86th year. Born in Uden, Holland on October 28, 1927. Married Marinus Kanters and immigrated to Canada in 1954. Beloved wife of Marinus Kanters; loving mother of Albert Adrian Kanters (Anne Runyan) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Edward Adrian Kanters (Lynne) of Windsor, Ontario, Michael Anthony Kanters (Colleen) of Apex, North Carolina, and Betty Anne Flaherty (John) of London, Ontario; and loving Oma of Matthew, Amanda, Erinn, David, Sean, Sydney, Kelly, Sharon, Christine, and Katherine. Daughter of Alberta and Adrianus Bouw and survived by two sisters and three brothers in Holland. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends to whom she gave so much. Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 124 Front Street. E in Strathroy on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Wilhelmina. Arrangements entrusted to Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy.
