Obituary of Maria Medeiros

Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Maria Artemisa Medeiros of Strathroy in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Fernando Medeiros. Dear mother of Alfredo (Julia), Walter (Fernanda), Ana (Walter) and Lucy (Brian). Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Jeff, Robert, Matthew, Amanda, Daniel, Curtis, Denise and Christopher and great grandmother of Matthew and Jordan. Also survived by her sisters Maria Jose Rebelo and Maria Jesus Marques and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Gilberto Brum and sister Idelina Barbosa. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, January 4 from 5-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
