Obituary of Ethel Mortley

Mortley, Ethel - At Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Ethel Irene Mortley of Strathroy in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late John Henry (Harry) Mortley of Woodstock (1993). Dear mother of Nancy (Terry) Anderson of Calgary, AB and John Mortley of Woodstock. Loving grandmother of Terra (Phil) Wilson of Cranbrook, BC and Trevor (Sandra) Anderson of Calgary, AB and great grandmother of Lincoln and Ramsey Wilson of Cranbrook, BC. Also survived by her sister Bonnie Tunks of Strathroy, her very special niece (like a daughter to her) Sandy Schakel of Strathroy and her nieces, nephews and their families who were all dear to her heart. Predeceased by her parents James and Lela (Griffith) Tunks and sisters Madge (Tunks) Jarmain and Julia (Tunks) Pedden. She was so strong . . . and finally had to rest and we will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, December 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 1 PM with Pastor Roger Gast officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made Heart and Stroke Foundation.
