Obituary of Clifford Taylor

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday November 28th, 1997. Clifford Daniel Taylor of Strathroy in his 80th year. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Lois (nee McNeil) for 53 years and 8 months. Son of the late John R. Taylor and Mary Clayton. Survived by his sisters Margaret & her husband Bill Jordan of Kerwood and Grace Glithero of Kerwood, his brother W. Grant (Bill) Taylor & his wife Kathleen of Strathroy, his sister-in-law Helen Taylor of Strathroy and his brother-in-law Raymond Cruikshank of St.Marys and Heck McNeil of Alvinston. Predeceased by his brothers Clayton & Donald. Also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many loving friends. Visitation on Sunday November 30th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday December 1st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 2, 1997 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Christine O'Brien and Rev. Deanne Cassidy officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Candadian Lung Association, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Napier or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated in lieu of flowers at Cliff's request. An IOOF (Odd Fellows) Service was held on Sunday at 7:00 PM. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Cliff.
