Obituary of Phyllis Phillips

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Monday, December 15th, 2003. Phyllis June (Down) Phillips in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Kenneth Phillips, Strathroy. Cherished and devoted mother of Marilyn and Burton Dolbear and Robert Phillips all of Strathroy. Dearly loved grandma of Laurie and Paul Van Dyk, Strathroy, Lincoln Dolbear, Barrie, and Sarah and Jon Periard, Strathroy. Precious GG of Brandon and Andrew Van Dyk. Dear sister of Lois and Jim Watson, West Williams and sister-in-law of Ivan Linton, Strathroy. Also survived by step-sister Loretta Harris, step-brother- in-law Donald Watson, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father and mother Albert and Pearl (Gill) (Down) Woods, brother Ivan Down, sister Greta Linton, step-father William Woods, step-sister Beryl Watson and step-brother-in-law Warren Harris. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home Thursday, December 18th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be from the Bethel Baptist Church, #81 Highway S. on Friday, December 19th, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Phyllis.
