Obituary of Mabel Smith

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, December 27, 2003. Mabel (Stewart) Smith of Strathroy in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Smith (1984) and dear mother of Marian and George Medland and Wayne and Barbara Smith all of Strathroy. Predeceased by her son-in-law Albert J. Dixon (1971). Granddaughter Carol Anne Dixon (1956) and 11 brothers and sisters. Loving grandmother of Cheryl and Rick Eggett, Jim Dixon, Doug & Amy Dixon, Christina & Jeff Gummerson, Jeff Smith and Fiance' Kristi Baker, Brad Smith and Step grandchildren Patricia & Martin Hettwer. Great grandmother of Albert Cushman and Janice Woods, Kevin, Kyle & Dougie Dixon, Annabella Gummerson & Alicia & Mark Hettwer. Great great grandmother of Brandon Cushman. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Monday, December 29, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Perreault officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital foundation would be appreciated by the family.
