Obituary of Anne Renkema

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Sunday, February 13, 2005, at the age of 69, the Lord took Anne to be with Him, following a lengthy illness. Born August 15, 1935 in The Netherlands to Rudy (d. 1983) and Mary (d. 2002) Linstra, Anne immigrated to Canada in 1953. Beloved wife of Peter. Devoted mother to John and Linda Renkema of Uniondale, Ron and Debbie Renkema of Oakville and Wayne and Gloria Renkema of Strathroy. Cherished grandmother to Katie, Adam and Trevor, Andrey and Alexandra and Mitchell, Lucas, Noah and Abbey. Dear sister to Rita Van Wieren and her husband Klaas and sister-in-law to Etty and Klaas, John and Wilma, Bill and Ann, Paul and Teresa, Matt and Nelda and Jean and Mike. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. With sincere thanks, the family acknowledges the kind, attentive and professional care of the staff at Sthrathmere Lodge. The family will receive friends at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service in celebration of Anne's life will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Drury Lane, Strathroy at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2005. Interment at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
