Obituary of Robert Hamelin

Robert Rheal Hamelin; Passed away at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 9th, 2005 at the age of 69 years. Robert is survived by his five sons, Peter, Daniel, Robert Jr. , Denis and Marc and his thi rteen grandchildren; Cory, Shane, Julie, Jamie, Melanie, Natalie, Sarah, Samantha, Stephen, Kara, Ryan, Scotty and Kristen. He is survived by his mother Noella, his brothers Marc and Richard and sisters Jackie and Claire. Robert worked at Kidd Creek Mines in Timmins, Ontario for many years prior to his retirement where he then resided in Strathroy. Robert will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitors will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home at 32 Metcalfe St. West, Strathroy, Ontario, on Sunday, March 13th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 14th, at All Saints Catholic Church in Strathroy at 11 a.m. with luncheon to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
