Obituary of George Robotham

Peacefully with family at his side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday April 15th , 2005. George David Robotham in his 87th year, born on March 28th 1919 in Adelaide Twp. Beloved husband and best friend of Doris Alberta (Murray) Robotham , Dear father of William (Bill) George Robotham. Loving grandpa of David William Earl Robotham and Jamie John Charles Robotham all of Strathroy. Predeceased by his first wife Loftena Pearl (Muxlow) Robotham (1975). He was the eldest child of David Whiting Robotham and Kate Elizabeth (Pulling) Robotham. Dear brother of Betty Marie and the late Bill Brooks ( January 2005) of Strathroy and Robert Gordon and Pearl Robotham Calgary Alberta, Predeceased by brothers Lloyd Charles (1997), Wilfred Henry (1974), William Walter (2001) and Donald Ross Robotham (1992). Also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be in Strathroy United Church, 131 Front St. W., Strathroy on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Jock Tolmay officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the Denning Bros Funeral Home 32 Metcalfe St W Strathroy on Monday, April 18 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and also Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the service . A Masonic memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 18 at 6:30pm under the direction of #289 Doric Lodge Lobo. In remembrance donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice . Gerorge enjoyed his association with many students during his 45 years of school bus driving.
