Obituary of Maurice Platts

At Longworth Long Term Care London on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, Reverend Maurice Platts in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Eileen (Carruthers) and the late Edna (1964). Loving father of Joan (Terry) Gentleman, Michael , John, Stephen and Timothy. Dear grandfather of Darcy and Tessa Gentleman and Megan and Brendan Platts. Fondly remembered by step-children Mary Katherine (Jack) Butler, Janet (Alan) Fisher, Bruce (Roxanne) Carruthers and Anne (Brad) Ford and their families. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Lois (Michael). A memorial service will be held at Strathroy United Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2005 with Reverend Keith Rameshwar and Reverend Jock Tolmay officiating. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service and during refreshments after. A private interment will be held at a later date.
