Obituary of Magdelena Ardelean

Magdalena Ardelean of Strathroy died on June 21, 2005. Born in Yugoslavia on May 7, 1925 she immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1951. Dearly loved mother of Gerald (Barbara) Haumann, Nairn, Kathy (Joe) Kiss, London and Josie (Fred) Teetzel, St. Thomas. She was very close to her four grandchildren and will be greatly missed by Jeff (Anna Larsen) Teetzel, St. Thomas, Angie Teetzel, Washington, Monica (Jeff Jones) Haumann Jones, Windsor and Trevor Haumann, Nairn. Great grandmother of Alexander Teetzel. Also survived by brother Tony (Theresa) Wilhelm, Germany, sister Teresa (Bob) Teetzel, Sarnia and sister-in-law Marlies Wilhelm, Strathroy.Predeceased by her husbands Georg Haumann (1944) and George Ardelean (1961) and parents Anton and Theresa Wilhelm and brother Jack Wilhelm. Visitation at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, June 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Friday, June 24 at 11 am with Fr. John Sharp officiating. CWL Prayers will be held at the funeral home Thursday afternoon at 1:30 pm. Donations may be made to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
