Obituary of William Stanley

Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side, William R. (Bill) Stanley passed away to his eternal home, on Sunday morning, December 4, 2005. Waiting there to greet him is Sharon Stanley. He will be greatly missed by his wife Carol, his children Paul and Michelle Gilpin, Jodi and Doug Beswick, Steve and Heather Stanley, Chris Wood and Filomena Medeiros, Jason Wood and Kathy Amess. Loving Grandfather of Erynne and Emilee Gilpin, Adam, Colin and Ryan Beswick and Sarah, Joshua and Leah Stanley. Loving brother of Rev. James and Louise Stanley, Ann and Bev Elliott, Joy Shimla and June and Jack Shiell. Visitation will be held at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Stanley officiating. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the VON Palliative Care would be appreciated.
