Obituary of Alice Philps

At the Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Friday December 30, 2005. Alice Eliza Eleanor Philps (nee Kellestine) formerly of Melbourne in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Warren Philps (1982). Loved and cherished mother of Marjory Belrose (Jerry), Isobel Carew (Gary), Helen Gough (Russell), Emily Butler (Max) and Kathryn Hiscox (Fred). Loving grandmother of Rick Belrose (Debbie), Cindy Bacon (Dwayne), Greg Belrose (Mary), Dan Belrose (Angie), Lori Lawson (Bob), Mike Carew (Lori), Chris Carew, Bob Gough (Gina), Paula Grant (Kevin), Wanda Schneller (Abe) and Susan Hiscox. Great Grandmother to Carlene and Kendra Bacon, Holly, Ashley, Peter, Mairi, Jordan and Evan Belrose, Allyscia and Sarah Lawson, Kyle, Nicole and Shawn Carew, Libby Gough, Josh and Kelly Grant, Desmond Schneller and Courtney Hiscox. Sister of Oddetta Jeffery, Jean Huston, Faye Smith, Jim Kellestine and Eileen Cudney. Predeceased by her parents Dan and Annie Kellestine, brothers Harold, Floyd, Warren and Basil Kellestine, sisters Nora Dolbear, Alma Jeffery and Ada Leduc. At Alice's request cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, private interment will take place at Longwoods Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Alice donations to the CNIB, 749 Baseline Rd., E., London, Ont. N6C 2R6 or to the Melbourne United Church General Fund, John St. Melbourne, Ont. N0L 1T0 would be appreciated.
