Obituary of Michael Scriboni

Passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, January 16, 2006. Michael Scriboni of Watford in his 71st year. Born in Rome, Italy on November 19, 1935 and immigrated to Canada in 1954. Leaves to mourn, his wife Helen Ferguson and special long time buddy Tuctu; children Carol (Gary) Topping of Strathroy, Sandy (Angela) Ferguson of Ridgetown, and Richard (Kim) Ferguson of Strathroy. Grandpa Mike will be missed by his precious grandchildren; Brad and Ashleigh Topping, Brent and Amy Ferguson, and Tyler and Alexandra Ferguson. Also survived by his sisters Enrica, Anna, Giuliana and Adriana, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, all of Rome, Italy. Special uncle to Kirby (Kathy) Taylor of Strathroy and their children Jason and Jennifer. Brother-in-law of Joe (Julie) Novak of Ridgetown. Predeceased by Alice Scriboni, his step-son Johnny and sister Germana. Mike's zest for life was obvious to all. A memorial service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, January 19 at 1 PM with Rev. Marjorie Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, Mike's wish was that memorial donations be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
