Obituary of Michael Parachin

With his faithful wife of 60 years, Valentina, and beloved family members at his side, Michael Parachin in his 94th year passed peacefully on February 10, 2006 from this life to the next. In the closing months of his life, his wishes to rest comfortably at home under the personal care of his family were lovingly and gladly honoured. Throughout this period, his repeated expressions of appreciation and affection for family will always be remembered as his final farewell. Michael will always be cherished as "Papa" by the family he left behind. A celebration of his life is being held by family members in a private memorial service.
