Obituary of Aleda Falconer

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, February 20, 2006. Aleda Myrtle (Lyons) Falconer of Strathroy in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Charles Falconer (1993) and dear mother of Gary and Arda Falconer of R.R.2 Mt. Brydges, Karen and Tom Merner of Owen Sound and Bob and Patti Falconer of Spring Grove, Ill. Loving grandmother of Krista and Shawn, Jason and Laura and Michael and Robin and Courtney and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Lyons, Fran Lyons and Ruth Brand all of Petrolia and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her grandson Jeff (2001) and brothers Melvin and Murray. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy on Wednesday, February 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. where funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Steve Boose officiating. Interment in West Adelaide Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association, Strathroy Hospital Auxiliary or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Aleda.
