Obituary of John Vereyken

Suddenly at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, April 6, 2006. John Martinus Vereyken of Strathroy in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Ann (Timmers). Loving father of Marion and Shaun Beach of Windsor and Maurice and Sarah Vereyken of Elmira and grandfather of Alexander, Marlies and Daniel. Dear brother of Pieta and Harvey Schroeder, Martin and Cathy Vereyken, sister Anne Regier, Archie and Nellie Vereyken, Mary and Martin Van Rooy and Frank and Joan Vereyken. He will also be missed by his many family and friends in Holland. Predeceased by his sister Paula. John lived life to the fullest everyday and was a proud and active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7570. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, April 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, April 9 at 11 AM with Fr. John Sharp officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
