Obituary of Simon Klaver

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, August 2, 2006, Simon Nicholaas Klaver of Strathroy in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Carole (Lundy) Klaver. Dear father of Daniel Klaver of London. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters John (Daphne) Klaver of London, Willy (Nancy) Klaver, Anne (Frank) Toth, Cathy (Anthony) Sanders, Alida (Don) Eagledon, Mary (Pete) Hoogstra, Pete (Sherrie) Klaver, Tony (Terry) Klaver and Bernadette (Paul) Sanders all of Strathroy. Survived by several nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and grand nephews also brother and sister-in-law Craig and Gay Lundy. Predeceased by his daughter Stacey Maria (1982) and his parents Neil and Maria Klaver, in-laws Ruth and Chub Lundy. Visitation will be held in the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, August 3, 2006 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Parish prayers will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Parish, Strathroy on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John Sharp celebrant, cremation to follow the Funeral Mass. Simon was a proud member of GWRRA Chapter S, London. Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Simon's Family.
