Obituary of Norma Zavitz

Norma Jean Zavitz (Prangley), age 78 years of Strathroy died suddenly February 26, 2007 in University Hospital in London. Much loved wife of Ernie Zavitz for 60 + years. Loving mother of Elizabeth (David) Scott of Courtright; Ron (Joanne) of Strathroy; Sharon (Archie, died in 1993) Lewis of Strathroy; Ken (Sherri) of Kerwood and Bruce (Wendy) of St.George. Loving sister of Donalda Williams of Waterdown; and Ross (Barb) Prangley of Blenheim. Loved sister-in-law of Walter & Dorothy Zavitz of Strathroy; Lyle & Carole Zavitz of Strathroy and Al Zavitz of Komoka. Treasured grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren: Matthew, Erin (Alan) and Laura Scott; Becky (Shay), Monica (Dave) and Jill (John) Zavitz; Kim (Greg), Denise (Jeremy) and Pam Lewis; Chandra, Bryce, and Madison Zavitz and Jenna and Klae Zavitz; Jesse, Dylan and Jayden Knight and Sarah Verberne. Predeceased by parents Myrtle (1953) & Jack Prangley (1980) and brother Grant (1966). Resting at Denning's Funeral Home in Strathroy. Visitation for family and friends on Friday, March 2, from 2-5 and 6-9 pm. A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Norma. Always the social butterfly, Norma kept us laughing. Her vibrant and unique spirit will be with us all. She will be missed!
