Obituary of John Janssens

Peacefully at his residence on Friday, March 16, 2007, John Janssens was taken home to the LORD in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Aaltje (Alie) Janssens nee Vander Heide. Loving father of Marion and Freeman Boyd of Meaford, Mark Janssens and Bonnie Rake of Ayr, Joyce and Stephen Arthur of Vancouver, Jim and Jackie Janssens of Inwood, Bob and Janine Janssens of Watford and Alan and Annette Janssens of London. Dear brother of Piet and Corry Janssens of South Africa, Anna Prinse, Koos and Janny Janssens, Harry and Stieneke Janssens, Tunnis and Janny Janssens and Mark and Tjitske Janssens all from the Netherlands. Predeceased by his parents Markus and Mettha Janssens, sister Roelie and husband Johan Por, brother JanAnne and wife Nettie. Proud grandpa of Eric; Jennifer and Ryan (Dorgelo); Karen; Jonathan, Alicia; Michael, Michelle, Kayla, Shane, Vanessa and one great-grandchild Blake Dorgelo. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W (245-1023) on Monday, March 19, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Canadian Reformed Church, 27968 Kerwood Rd, Kerwood ON, with Rev. James Slaa officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of John, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the charity of your choice.
