Obituary of Donald Mercer

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday March 21, 2007. Donald Mercer of Strathroy in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Moore) Mercer of Strathroy and dear father of Doris Zafar of Mississsauga, Ruth Iqbal of Thorold, Wendy Ashraf of Ft.McMurray Alberta, and Dave Mercer of Woodstock. Survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grand child and sisters Dorothy Dowding and Helen Hartford. Predeceased by a sister Margaret Butterworth. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home Strathroy on Friday March 23 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 24 at 2:00pm from the funeral home with Rev. Robert Hayne Officiating. Interment will take place at Zion 7th Line Cemetery Cobble Hills Rd. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
