Obituary of Gerard Weerd

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday April 17, 2007. Gerard Jozef De Weerd of Strathmere Lodge (Strathroy) in his 91 st. year. Loving and caring husband for 55 years to Johanna (Verboort) De Weerd ; Poppie of Mary (Rob) Vegso, Annette (Martin) VandenBoomen and Rick (Julie) De Weerd. Opa to Randie, Kari Ann (Allister),Angela, Terri, Michael and Brian, Kelly, Michael and Laura. Also survived by his brothers and sisters Mia, Jan, Thera and An all of Holland. Predeceased by his sister Jo and brothers Pete and Is. Visitation will be held in the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St., W., Strathroy on Friday from 2:00-4:00 P.M. & 7:00-9:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Parish, Strathroy on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Michael Kiszko celebrant. Interment to follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be held in the funeral home Friday at 1:30 P.M.. In Lieu of flowers donations to The Memorial Fund Strathmere Lodge Ladies Auxiliary, P.O.
