Obituary of Florence Pittaway

At Strathmere Lodge Strathroy, on Sunday June 10th, 2007 in her 99th year. FLorence Lillian Pittaway (Jones) went home to heaven. She was welcomed by her Lord and Saviour and rejoined her husband Rev. J. Balfour Pittaway (1991) and daughter Lillian (1949). Always a loving and giving person, she will be missed by her daughter Ruth, son in law Earl Milliken and son Jim Pittaway, as well as 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her ministry in concert with her husband in Strathroy, St. Thomas, Scarborough, and Stratford and by radio will continue to impact those who had the privilege of knowing them. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home Strathroy on Tuesday June 12th from 7 to 9pm where a "Celebration of Life and Homecoming" will be held on Wednesday June 13th at 11:00 a.m. "Absent from the body; present with the Lord." Interment, Woodland Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Heritage Bible College and Seminary (Pittaway Award), Bethel Baptist Church, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
