Obituary of Herman Postma

After a long and faithful life committed to God and family, Herman Postma was taken home to glory on Friday, September 21, 2007 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy at the age of 92. Predeceased by his beloved wife Tetje (1998) after over 60 years of marriage, also predeceased by his son Willem (1945). Beloved father of Ann & John DeHaan of Strathroy, Alice Winters of London and Evelyn & John Kreeft of Sarnia. Fondly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a sister-in-law all of the Netherlands. Friends will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W. Strathroy on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from the Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy at 11:00 A.M. with visitation in the church one hour prior. Interment will take place in Strathroy Cemetery. Sympathy through donations to the Strathroy Community Christian School or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
