Obituary of Charlie Morningstar

Peacefully departed with his daughter at his side at Strathroy Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2007. Charles Thomas Morningstar of Strathroy in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois Almina Morningstar (King)(Quaite). Loving father of Timothy Morningstar and Lorraine Morningstar and stepfather of Catherine King-Smith and Russell and Rita King. Proud grandfather of Ricky (Kathy), Angela (Eric), Larry (Maria), Rusty, Derek, Travis and Latoya and several great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Beverly Alderson (Graham) and brother-in-law Don Giles (Joyce) and sisters-in-law, Sheila and Thelma Morningstar. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Charlie was a veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received by the family at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Wednesday, December 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 11 AM with Pastor Doug Watson officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Sir Arthur Currie Br. 116, Strathroy would be gratefully acknowledged.
