Obituary of Jennie Buttery

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 4, 2008, Jennie Buttery (Van Boven) of Kerwood in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William Buttery (1992), and predeceased by infant son George Adrian (1945). Loving mother of Barb (John) Grogan of Strathroy, Bill (Lucy) Buttery of Watford, Tom Buttery of Kerwood, Nancy (Ralph) Goad of Chatham, Al (Bobbi) Buttery of Kerwood, Ron (Mary) Buttery of Kerwood, and Cathy Buttery (Patrice Gagnon) of Laval, Quebec. Dear and proud grandmother of John Grogan, Jennifer Vanderlinden, Stacey De Ruiter, Carrie Readings, Amanda Picott, Michael, Andrew and Krista Goad, Mandy Webster, Dan and Brad Buttery, Justin and Laura Buttery and Alexandre and Julien Gagnon. Special great-grandmother of eleven. Predeceased by her parents Adriaan (1976) and Janna (1979) Van Boven and her sister Nellie McKenzie (1990). Survived by her brother Foort Van Boven, Sister Rose (Alan) Harley and sister-in-law Fran Long (Ernie) Carruthers. Visitation at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, January 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 11 AM with Thelma & Robert Perry officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
