Obituary of Wilma Speerstra

After a long battle with cancer the Lord took home Wilma in her 71st year on Monday, February 25, 2008. Loving wife of Allen Speerstra. Much loved mother of Margherite and Gary Ross, Stan and Marg Speerstra, Carolyn and Tom Deehan, Corinne and Brian Linker. Loved Oma of Carly and Taylor Ross, Mitchell and Shannon Deehan, Melanie, Julie, Katie and Emily Linker. Wilma is survived by many caring and loving relatives and will be missed by her friends. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W, Strathroy, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Wilma's life will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy, on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tony Vanden Ende officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Wilma, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Clinic. A special thanks to Dr. Marr and Dr. Crowley, all the nurses at SMGH and special acknowledgement to Sue Bernard.
