Obituary of Fred Van Bavel

Suddenly at home on December 27, 2024, Fred Van Bavel passed away at the age of 60. Fred was the devoted husband of Pam Van Bavel for 36 incredible years. Cherished father of Megan (Tyler) Jenner and Brent Van Bavel (Megan Reid). Proud Opa of Logan Jenner and another special grandchild on the way. Fred is survived by his four siblings. Son of the late Tony and Anne Van Bavel and predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Jackie Strachan.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Thursday January 2, from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. 

In memory of Fred, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital.
