Seeing Howard being part of the Quilt festival team made me smile and feel secure. Every day. Every year.
Loved his hair :-) (I don't think I ever told him)
I am so very sorry for your loss, Ruby!

Dear Ruby and Family: We are so sorry to read of Howard's passing. We've often wondered how he was doing, and only just learned of health issues with you Ruby. We've so missed seeing & chatting with you about Howard's status, and with Mrs. Kilby & catching up with you both when you two were on your daily walks. We had the utmost respect for Howard, he was certainly a gentleman, and a man who thought highly of his community and the people in it. He sure showed just how much -with his actions & volunteerism over the years. He will be missed, and remembered with reverance.

I recall when I was living in Ailsa Craig, seeing him at the library on occasion, and we had a few chats, catching up on things. Such a lovely fellow, it was good to see him again after many years. My condolences to Howard's family on your loss.
