Obituary of Dan Van Durmen

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Daniel Van Durmen, on September 1st, 2024, at home with family by his side and a smile on his face as he was received into the arms of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the age of 71.  Loving husband of Anne (nee Mueller) of 48 years.  Cherished brother-in-law and best friend of Jerry and Elizabeth Dejaegher.  Dan had a love and passion for all things vehicles and automotive.  From building transmissions, car races and car shows to list a few. Dan loved his "other one" 1971 Chevelle.  Dan was a very kind and gentle man who was very considerate of others.  

Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at Denning's of Strathroy, 32 Metcalfe St. W., on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be held one hour prior.
