Obituary of Mary Wilton

Mary Beulah Jean (Faulkner) Wilton, 66, transferred into her heavenly home on April 17, 2008, from Strathroy General Hospital. Dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Lyle Bruce Wilton of Mt. Brydges, ON; and her children and grandchildren; Heather Marie (Peter) Grafe and Timmy, of Mombasa, Kenya; Bruce William Ray (Niki) and Natalie, Bishop, Katrina, of Calgary, AB; and Sandra Mae (Steve) Mackey and Elliot, of Vancouver, BC. Also loved dearly by brother Bill (Judy) Faulkner, Olds, AB; sister Betty Faulkner, McBride, BC; brother-in-law Ross (Marie) Wilton, of Fredericton, NB, and cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was predeceased by her father Ezra Ray Faulkner, and mothers Jean (Brown) Faulkner and Alice (Russ) Faulkner. Mary, born in Bongandza, Belgian Congo in 1941, thrived as a missionary kid at Rethy Academy in Congo. She attended Prairie Bible Institute, AB and graduated as a RN from Toronto East General Hospital in 1967. Mary, with Lyle, joined Africa Inland Mission in 1971 and served in Africa for 35 years in medical and other ministries. Her smile warmed all she met as Christ radiated throughout her life. A private committal following cremation will be in Mt Brydges Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on April 26, at 1pm at Bethel Baptist Church, Strathroy, ON. Mary's love for African children will be honoured by gifts to her memorial fund at Africa Inland Mission.
