Obituary of Al Stoner

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Al Stoner announce his passing on May 25, 2024, at the age of 62.

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl (Stirling), daughter (and favourite Scrabble opponent) Sydra, brother Rob, and sister Sandy.

Predeceased by his parents Glen and Barb (Jervis) Stoner and father-in-law Walt Stirling. 

Al leaves behind his mother-in-law Edna Stirling (Jack), brother-in-law Brad (Hilda) Stirling, and nephews Ryan (Daniella) Stirling and Devin Stirling. 

In honouring Al’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Al’s Last Call will be held on Friday June 7, 2024, from 1:30pm until 4:30pm at CARADOC SANDS GOLF CLUB (24500 Saxton Rd., Strathroy, ON N7G 3H4). Casual attire is encouraged.

Al’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Crowley, Dr. Jonathan Izawa, Dr. Donald Scott Ernst, and Dr. Adam Mutsaers, as well as the London Regional Cancer Program and LHSC-Victoria Hospital, and their respective teams. The family would also like to express gratitude to their neighbourhood of friends who have supported Al and Al’s family in every way imaginable.
