Obituary of Maria Lee

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Maria Lee (Medaglia) of Strathroy announces her passing on May 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. This is a testament to the love and caring that Maria brought to this world.

Maria is survived by her beloved sister, Viola Medaglia, and her devoted daughter, Sharon Bucci. She is also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews and her beautiful grandchildren, Raymond Lee (Joanne), Michael Bucci (Terri), James Bucci, Anthony Rudolph, and William Rudolph Jr., as well as 11 great-grandchildren.

Maria is predeceased by her loving husband, Allen Lee, her precious daughter, Peggy Rudolph (Bill), and her 11 siblings.

Maria served as a Sports Officer and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Montgomery Branch #351, Ottawa, Ontario. She spent much of her time and energy promoting sports and camaraderie. Her love for baseball was infectious, and she even played as an amateur in her youth, inspiring many with her passion.

She will be fondly remembered often and sadly missed always.
