Obituary of Ruth Cowie

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, May 5, 2008. Ruth Audrey Cowie of Parkhill in her 89th year. Daughter of the late Gordon and Elizabeth McIntosh. Beloved wife of Ross Cowie. Dear mother of Kenn and Jane Higgs of Sarnia and Rich and Ann Higgs of Ottawa. Sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren; Todd, Tasha, Jennifer, Ryan and Matthew and 7 great-grandchildren. Survived by 3 sisters; June, Betty and Eleanor. Predeceased by 5 sisters; Shirley, Mae, Bernice, Verlyn and Evleyn and 4 brothers; Lloyd, Harvey, Elliott and Harold (Bob). Visitation will be held at the T. Stephenson and Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig on Thursday, May 8 from 12-2 PM when a funeral service will be held with Re. Larry Amiro officiating. Interment in Nairn Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
