Obituary of Maria Dos Anjos Pereira Leite

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on March 17, 2024, Maria Dos Anjos Pereira Leite passed away at the age 65. Maria was the beloved wife of Herculano Leite for 49 wonderful years. Maria is survived by her siblings José Pereira Carreiro and Lucia Medeiros Carreiro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family in Portugal, Canada, and the USA. She was predeceased by her parents José Correiro and Maria Dos Anjos Pereira Correiro, her three sisters, and her one brother.

Maria was a very loving woman. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, animals, especially her cherished dog Susana. Maria had a love for unique fashion and could always be seen wearing bright and colourful clothing.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 22, 2024, from 9:30am until 10:30am at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home following visitation at 11:00am. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
