Sending condolences to all of Ruth's family. She was my mentor during my years at St. Josephs in London, 1965...1971 while we worked together in special procedures. I thought a lot of Ruth and valued her friendship during those years. She was genuine.

Ruth was my friend. She was 6 years older than me. It didn't make much difference. We were friends. We enjoyed serving God. We found new friends every where we went. To Eastern Canada to visit her brother Keith and Prudie. Another time to visit her Uncle Howard Windecker. Then to spend time seeing the country we drove to New Mexico. In fact we did that trip twice but a different route down and back. Then there was a bus tour through Europe with a week at the end with Sharon Warden in France. Then next we had a month in S./Africa with my sister and included Victoria Falls ,Rodesia, as it was then, and Kenya. We met and made friends there too. Then there where the weekends at her home in London. Friday night dinners and games!! ALL day shopping trips. Well.... We were good friends.. I will miss you Ruth. Shirley Egger

You have my heart felt sorrow at the loss of your beloved family member and dear friend.
I knew Ruth from the time I started at St. Joseph’s Health Care in 1981 until the time she retired. We worked together in the special procedures x-ray unit, where she demonstrated kindness and understanding for every patient she had in her care. I have never forgotten her fantastic mentorship, her commitment to patient care and thoughtful interaction in all situations.
We all know that life is sacred, life is short so it is my hope that you have the comfort of remembering the wonderful memories you have of Ruth. May she have peace.

I had the privilege of living at Ruth's home from Sept 1976 to Sept 1977 while I worked in London. From her home, I went to spend a year in the Netherlands as a Nanny. I am in touch yet with the family where I worked. I have many pleasant memories of my stay in her home. She was kind and sincere which I still appreciate today. Teresa Buurma
