Obituary of John Salgado

Peacefully at LHSC-Victoria Hospital on January 31, 2024, John Salgado passed away at the age of 73. John is survived by his loving wife Gilda Salgado of 35 years.  He is survived by his sisters Maria Conceicao Jesus (Aristides Jesus) and Isabel Faria. Predeceased by his parents Helena Rapose and John Rapose and brothers David Salgado and Sarafim Salgado.  John will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by his many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY (32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy) on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 4-7p.m. and Monday, February 5, 2024 from 9:30- 10:30a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Parish (124 Front Street East, Strathroy) on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  Internment in All Saints Roman Catholic Cemetery.
