Obituary of Royden Alexander Higgs

Our hearts are filled with sadness at the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Royden was predeceased by his wife, Mary, of over 65 years.  He is survived by his children Jack (Annette), Pam (Steve), Gail (Tom), and Gary (Bev), and their children. 

He is fondly remembered by several siblings and their families.

He was hard-working, had a great sense of humour and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed socializing with friends, family, and neighbours. After retiring from the Ilderton Co-op, he enjoyed many hours walking with his dog and continued tending to his farm.

A private family gathering has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday October 22, 2023, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
