It is with great sadness the family of Nellie Verhoeven announces her passing at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on September 24^th, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Henrie Verhoeven (2011). Loving mother of Josie (Anthony) De Borger; Ryan (Nadia) De Borger, Michael (Karla) De Borger, Mitchell De Borger, Alex Turko; the late Petey(1959); Lucy (Gary) Eves; late Brian (2010) (Julie) Eves, Kelly (Robert) Nethercott, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Eves; Patsy (Bob) Braun; Bobby (Julie) Braun, Danny (Alyssa) Braun; Margie (Louis) Soetemans; Justin (Alyssa) Soetemans, Brandon (Angela) Soetemans, Krystin (Donny) Lea; Henry (Kim) Verhoeven; Philip (Suzanne) Draper, Sara (Dwayne) Ayris; Rick Verhoeven; Cody (Vanessa), Dusty, and Hunter Verhoeven. Nellie was a very proud great-grandmother of 34 special great-grandchildren. 

Nellie is the dear sister of late Peter (Willy) Van Bree, Reta (late Hubert) Vossen, late Tony (late Mary) Van Bree late Frank (Elsie) Van Bree, Paul (Christine) Van Bree, Annie (Bert) Geerts, Frances (late Casey) Nooren, Minnie Van Eyk (late Ron), Pauline (late Bill) Van Eyk, late Tina (Peter) Thuss, and Teresa (Jack) Van Diepen. 

The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Seasons that cared for and loved our mom. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28^th, 2023 from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 29^th, 2023 at 11:00a.m., at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy. Interment to follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
