Robin “Bird” Ball

Unexpectedly on July 22, 2023, Robin “Bird” Ball passed away at the age of 51. Bird was the cherished partner and best friend of Amy Pettinger. He was the very proud father of Emily, Danielle, Deven, Travis, Brianna, Derek, Trevor, and Brilynn. Bird was the loving Papa of Carter, Cameron, Lucas, the late Maliki, Mathias, Olivia, and Layla. Bird is survived by his siblings Marilyn, Bonnie (Bob), Carol (Dave), Pat, Marianne, Cindy, Brian (Helen), Bob (Kim), Glen, Tammy (John), Tracey (the late Michael), and Lawrence (Rhonda). He was the cherished “Uncle Bird” of many nieces and nephews. Bird was predeceased by his parents George and Donna.  

Bird was an incredible man with many amazing qualities. He loved the outdoors, especially camping. His favourite place to camp was at his sister’s house. He would always bring the whole family along and created so many special memories there. Another one of Bird’s favourite things was Celtic music – the louder the better. Bird was a one-of-a-kind man who can never be replaced. He will truly be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

As per Bird’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Friday August 18th, 2023, at 1:00pm at Southampton Cemetery..
