Obituary of Mary Alene Higgs

Our hearts are filled with sadness at the loss of a beloved wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was the rock that was always there when we needed strength and support.
Mary is survived by her husband Royden of 65 years and her children Jack (Annette), Pam (Steve), Gail (Tom), Gary (Bev), and their families. She loved to follow all of her family on Facebook and Zoom calls. She is also survived by many sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Her time as Librarian at the Coldstream Library was a source of great pride and enjoyment. She loved to play cards, visit with friends, chat with the neighbours, and spend time with the Exercraft ladies.

As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations to Meals on Wheels, which Mary supported for many years, or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
