Obituary of Jean McLeod

It is with heavy hearts the family of Jean McLeod announces her passing on May 26^th, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Ron McLeod for 58 special years. Proud Mother of Daryl (Belinda) McLeod, Kate (Ron) Tyler, and Lisa (Bill) Seeley. Cherished Nana of Megan (Late Nigel), Jenni (Ryan), Cameron (Shanlea), Tara, Laura (Matt), Sean (Heather), Craig, Sarah (Derek), Alex (Jordan), Aleigha (Scottie) and Steph (Dylan).  “Other Nana” of Austin, Brody, Mackenize, Weston, Cooper, Laikyn, Parker, Rowan, Logan, Griffin, Rory, Finnigan and Baby Seeley- Santos. Survived by her sister Freda Ticknor. She will be fondly remembered by many family members and friends.

Jean exemplified dignity and grace in the face of her capability’s. She never complained and always made her family smile when she would say her famous line “I had a stroke don’t you know!”  or a simple “Whatever”. She will be remembered by all for her sweet and most inviting smile and her perfect hair, of course. Her legacy will live on in her family.

A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, May 30^th, 2023 from 11:30 until time of memorial service at 1:00pm, luncheon gathering to follow.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the MS Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
